Distribb Review: My 90 Days Test Results (3/5 Honest Review)

I spent 90 days running Distribb across a portfolio of content sites to see if an all-in-one AI SEO platform could actually replace the stack of tools I was juggling.

(3/5 Honest Review)

I will be sharing the wins, the friction, and whether I’d keep paying for it.

In summary, Distribb delivers on its promise of full-chain automation, but it’s not a hands-off solution.

While using it, I compared it with some other SEO tools I have used, like Rankpilot, which is a focused AI SEO automation tool with a flat price, though a different shape of product, built more around structured content output and tracking an AI model than the distribution features Distribb leans on.

What Distribb Does

At its core, Distribb generates SEO articles and publishes them on a schedule. Aside from that, it adds features for passive backlink acquisition. In its higher pricing tier, the tool can repurpose your social media content.

Distribb has a review-first mode that allows you to approve content before it publishes, alongside a full auto-publish option for those who want it fully hands-off, but this would influence the quality of your content.

The tool also has an  Agentic Mode that lets you keep your own AI models and use Distribb’s infrastructure (keyword data, CMS publishing, backlink network) through its API.

My Quick Verdict on Using Distribb

I find that Distribb is best designed for SaaS founders, digital marketing agencies, and content managers who want an all-in-one platform to handle blog publishing, passive backlinking, and social repurposing from a single dashboard.

However, it’s not ideal if you only need a few premium articles per month or rely on deep subject-matter expertise.

What Worked Well

  • The automation chain saved me hours because Distribb connects steps I used to handle across multiple tools: keyword research, content calendar, writing, CMS integration, internal linking, and backlinks.
  • The review mode was helpful because it allowed me to spot errors, shallow content, and even refine the content tone to suit my brand.
  • I earned contextual backlinks from other businesses without manual outreach.

What Didn’t Work

  • The content generated requires active editing and feedback. Sometimes, drafts can lack your brand voice or can sound overly agentic, including the content structure, if not closely monitored.
  • While Distribb repurposes long-form posts into short-form social captions, social auto-posting is not live. You will need to manually copy and publish the generated social media posts.
  • The internal keyword research tool does not provide deep analysis of the keywords researched; hence, you will need to rely on dedicated tools like Ahrefs or Semrush to validate keyword lists before publishing.
  • While powerful, I learned to track the backlink exchange closely, especially on my primary domain. Automating backlinks without oversight carries risks if you’re not selective about which partners you’re exchanging with.

Pros and Cons of

Pros

  • A suitable all-in-one SEO tool for anyone
  • Review-first mode lets users approve content before it goes live
  • Discounted first month lowers the cost of testing it
  • Supports multi-language content publication
  • Embedding YouTube video

Cons

  • The starting price of $97/month (after a 3-day trial that requires a credit card) may be a little expensive for solo bloggers or small teams who only want simple AI article generation.
  • You will need to review the generated content before publication due to shallow content sometimes.
  • The brand tone also requires review after generating the content.
  • While the tool drafts multi-channel social media posts, automated direct-publishing to social media is not live.

Pricing and Value of Distribb

Distribb pricing is relatively transparent, and I committed to the

$97/month plan, which offers keyword research, automated article generation, CMS integration, backlink exchange, among others.

At $97 per month, I view Distribb as a good investment if your team actively utilises its backlinking network. However, if your sole objective is publishing regular high-quality blog posts, I consider the price hard to justify compared to single-purpose alternatives like Neutron Writer or Rankpilot.dev.

Distribb  is Best For/Not Best For

Best For

  • Users willing to run new content through review mode rather than trusting auto-publish immediately and wouldn’t mind the quality of output.
  • Teams managing client sites that benefit from combined content creation, link building, and social repurposing.
  • SaaS founders looking to automate organic search visibility and backlink growth.

Not Best For

  • Budget-conscious website owners who only need basic article generation and prefer lower monthly overhead.
  • Technical SEO specialists requiring in-depth site audits, schema validation, or keyword gap analysis.
  • Anyone expecting flawless, unedited publishing from day one without reviewing the content.

Pricing$97/month and $495/month
Trial3-day trial with a card
Standout featureBacklink exchange feature
WeaknessesShallow content sometimes, keyword research that requires external tools, and the need to consistently fine-tune the brand tone of the content.
Is it Worth it?Yes, it is worth it, but you also have to be aware that you will spend time refining your brand voice and content, as well as on backlink exchange.

My Final Verdict on Distribb

After 90 days, Distribb is a nice-to-have tool for teams that need to scale content execution without using multiple tools at once. The full automation workflow: keywords, calendar, writing, CMS, and backlinks saved me time and simplified my workflow.

But it’s not magic. The backlink exchange needs monitoring. The content requires review. The value only holds at scale. And if your topics demand unique insight, you’ll need to step in and edit. If you’re looking for a lighter, more focused alternative, RankPilot.dev is worth checking alongside the tool.
